Return of the Mike!

So after three years of this blog sitting gathering dust in some random corner of the Internet I've decided to resurrect 'Definitive Hysteria'! Admittedly this blog was still in its infancy when I lost interest which is a shame because I was really enjoying dishing out my thoughts on the music I love.

Basically shortly before I stopped writing this blog I began a foundation degree in counselling which took up all my free time. My passion for reading and writing took a back seat as I did both of these for work rather than leisure. Now I'm all finished and qualified I've found I actually have the time to read and write about what I want which 9 times out of 10 is music. So after much thought about the matter I'm giving this blog a second chance.

For those of you who didn't read 'Definitive Hysteria' the first time (99.9% of the Internet), its basically reviews of current and classic albums, some choice recommendations of artists and songs I love as well as my thoughts on music news in general (my post on Gorillaz last time round caused a lot of interest)
